    winXP how do you remove invalid links

    In winXP, how do you remove old shared folders/links from c/drive when f/drive was removed/wiped before unshared.
    Folders still show on the network and are not removable on local machine.
    Home network.

      I think you can do it from share management (Computer Management – Shared Folders – Shares). I believe orphaned shares still show here. If they do, you can remove them by right-clicking on the share you no longer want and choose Stop Sharing.
