Wireless LAN

By knowall ·
Is there any way to overcome the limit with 802.11B systems of 3 access points in one area. Having more than this lowers the data rate and makes the planning of internal wireless LAN difficult. This restriction seems to be unmentioned by wireless LAN vendors.

Wireless LAN

Hi Mike,

The answer is depends on what would you like to achieve in using three access points in one area. If you are using Cisco Aironet Access Points, there is one technology called bandwidth aggregation which will improve the performance of the wireless LAN. Try to contact your local Cisco reps to get more information about the Aironet products.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Thanks.
