Word 2002 WinXP Question

By leroy-l ·
I create a document in Word 2002 that runs into multiple pages. On editing the document I downsize it to only one page. How do I remove the blank pages that stay there and print out as blank pages?

View the document in Normal view. (View>Normal)
Click on the pilcrow (?) to turn on Show/Hide
As you scroll to the bottom of the document you may see extra ?'s. Delete them.
You may also see dotted lines with the words page break or section break. Delete those as well.
Another way is to click at the end of the text you want to retain.
Hit Ctrl+Shift+End and then Delete.

The text is in a Table w/ 3 columns. On the second page it is now blank, having deleted the Table outline markings, but the blank page is still there and I can't remove it.
