Writing a Macro in Excel 2007

By AMS ·
Would like to edit data below so that the first $ sign is removed from the formula in the first cell, then moving to right it is removed in the 2nd cell, etc. When the end of the first row is reached, the macro should drop down to the next row and repeat the operation until there are no more rows. Is this within the capability of Excel?

..... Col A...Col B...Col C...Col D...Col E
Row 1 =$C$8 =$D$8 =$F$8 ...... =$H$8
Row 2 =$C$9 =$D$9 =$F$9 ...... =$H$9

You asked "Is this within the capability of Excel?"

The answer is yes, using a VB script, but it's not going to be easy.

Have you started to learn Visual Basic (VB) yet? If not, here's your chance. That's how I started to learn.

Many of us make a living doing this type of stuff, so if you're asking for someone to write it for you instead of learning it yourself, you're in the wrong forum.

I'm willing to learn, I just don't know where to start?
