On initial start up select start in VGA mode to load standard VGA drivers. This will allow you to go in and remove the wrong video card drivers.

NT4 normally has a text-mode boot menu if it appears then select VGA mode as in the previous answer however this menu can be turned off (this is often the case with factory installs) to turn it on you have to edit a file called boot.ini found in the root directory of your C: drive. If your C: drive is stll a FAT16 partition then you can use
a DOS (or Win95/98) boot disk to gain access to your C: drive use attrib.exe to make boot.ini read/write then you can use a text editor to change the timeout period to 30 (seconds) and you can then boot NT into VGA mode. If your C: drive is an NTFS partition then the easiest way to edit boot.ini is to install NT4 workstation into a _different directory_ from your current installation (you don't needto install service packs or networking) then set NT explorer to view hidden files and then edit boot.ini to set the default installation and the timeout. installing a 2nd copy of NT4 protects all the settings/applications of your original installation.
