XP Home SP3 System Event Error 7026

Can somebody please help me to resolve this error, which appears in the XP Home System Event Viewer with each bootup: "System Event error 7026 - the following boot start or system start drivers failed to load: TfFsMon

It relates to Threatfire File System Monitor ...

Which is a free download from PC Tools.

Either you have previously used this software then deleted it, leaving this remnant behind in the boot process or your existing installation of this utility has become corrupted.

If you don't use this software anymore, use CCleaner to clean up the remaining registry entries. You can download it free from here:

http://www.piriform.com/download

If you still use 'ThreatFire' I'd reckon it has become corrupted somehow. You should uninstall it, then reinstall again to regain a working installation of this utility program.
