Sonja ignoring, or the 'process' in place?

She may have gone to someone to write a quick script and been told to submit a 'project' ticket.
If it is anything like here, once the request is put in, it is ignored for 2-4 weeks, then reviewed to see if it should go to the queue to be approved/rejected. If rejected at this point, no notice is given.

Once in the queue to be approved/rejected, it sits for 2-6 weeks. If rejected, an email is sent out with a DO NOT REPLY message on top, and no information for whom to contact. This leaves the option of re-submittal only, along with changing the description, and making note that this is a (second, third, fourth) attempt, and would really like to discuss it with someone.
However, these additional notes will make absolutely no difference, as it just makes it more likely to be booted at the first location -- with no notice given.

All this leads to is frustration, so at this point one is left to start emailing every manager up the chain until someone is stupid enough to respond. However, this is unlikely as all of them have been through this process several times and dont want to get involved.
Finally, you may recieve an email from another automated mailbox stating that to get this approved, you will need CIO approval, for a script that will take 20 min to write.
So, while pulling hair out you decide to target the entire company with SPAM and Hate Mail just to see if ANYONE will actually respond to emails from anyone else inside the company.
And you find out that there is at least 1 person, whom does read the email, and that is an HR Investigator, who suddenly starts having everything you do monitored.
Then the WFR papers get sent, but they wait until they find out that you are having financial trouble, and then come by with ARMED Security guards to walk you out.

When you get outside, there is a nice shiny Black and White Patrol car and several Police Officers waiting for you, because they found out during the investigation that you took a cd home at some point, and it may or may not contain company information.

While at the Police Station, you are informed that your house, and the house of everyone you ever met before was being searched, and if anything was found wrong, you would be arrested.
Then they find out that you copied a music cd, even though you had the original, and the RIAA fines you $10,000 and they haul you off to Federal 'pound in the a$$' prison.

Is it any wonder Sonja is ignoring this???
