The access and forwarding rule for sending port 8004 may only apply to the wired interface....you may need to delete that rule and create it for the device when it's connected wirelessly. While the wireless part of the device should act like a mac-layer bridge, sometimes there can be a security feature or bug that creates issues. To be clear, there is only one router involved, not a router hooked up to a DSL router??
