When you post the same question multiple times, many of the peers here will just skip over your question. Just how new is this laptop? If it is still under warranty, you should start out with Acer tech support and see if they have a quick fix. Does the laptop respond to the keyboard or does it appear to be in hibernation? When you power up, does it sound like it is loading Windows? Do you see the BIOS or any boot screens? You may have another dead laptop. Or, at least a dead display. Chas + 0 Votes Same Problem spglmn 5 years ago I've had the same problem with 3 Aspire PC's in the last week. They suddenly don't boot anymore... they black screen. Can't even get into Safe Mode. I'm having a hard time believing this is just a bad piece of hardware. In one machine, sure... but in 3, all at once? I'm wondering if it's a firmware issue?
