Sir,
I was activated my win xp with sp2 software as on 10/07/2006.Recently i was formated my HDD and reload O.S Now how to recover my activation code.
MY cd key is [EDITED BY ADMIN].
please tell me to how to received my activation key

    @chsvsuresh: When you posted your cd-key, you allowed any one in the world to do an install and activate their computer using your key. Since there are only x number of installs allowed per cd-key, you are trusting that no one in the world who accesses this page will use your key.

    Either you have put this key in a post to be a troll (and it's a fake key) or due to ignorance of how Microsoft makes their money. If it's inexperience, I would edit that key out of your post immediately or render your install media useless.

    the post has been edited but the CD key is still visiable from the techrepublic home page->Most Recent.

    Any chance it can be removed?

    Open the activation windows and follow the prompts to activate by phone.

    Explain your situation to the representative.

    They track activations and can verify your previous activation date and probably location.

    If everything looks legit to them, sghould not be a problem.
