I am about to purchase a new Win8 PC. I want to create a dual boot so I can have Win7 on it as well. I know I can set up a dual boot and install Win7 from scratch but since Win7 and all my system files and applications are on a separate hard drive already, can I just install the old drive into the new PC and create a dual boot without having to reinstall everything?
In other words, will Win 8 recognize that there is a Win7 system in the machine and accommodate it?
If not, how do I get it the dual boot to work short of re-installing everything which defeats the purpose in my view.
