Can't map drives on Wireless connected machines

j_walk44
I have a problem with 2 NEC desktop PCs which use a peer to peer wireless connection. Each PC had the other's C drive mapped over the wireless connection & worked fine but now neither will connect to the other, just get "An error occurred reconnecting. The local device name is already in use". Both machines show a good connection to the peer to peer wireless network but if I try to map the drives again I get "The network path could not be found". Any ideas?

    SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to save a Microsoft Office document to a mapped drive, you may receive the following error message:
An error occurred while reconnecting drive letter to \\network server\share folder.

Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use.

This connection has not been restored.

    CAUSE
This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true: ? McAfee VirusScan ASAP software Scan Engine 4.1.40 is installed on your computer.

    -and-
? The mapped drive is located on a Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition version 4.0-based computer.

Thanks for the suggestion but neither machine is using McAfee & the mapped drives are just on PCs on a peer to peer network.
