Im having trouble in my network storage, when i try to upload a file or save a file in the server the upload speed is about 80mb/s but when i try to get that same file i got file transfer speed at 1kb? can anyone tell me where would be the problem was? my network connection on both side is 1gb and my switch trunk speed at both end is 10gb..

if i setup cisco switch two ports connectd to my storage server and make the lan to bridge is there a configuration to the switch port interface for two connection to act as one so i can get 2gb speed?

    OH Smeg

How much RAM is in the server and how fast are the Storage Drives in it?

If I'm reading your question correctly you can upload at a sort of decent speed but downloading is a slow process so I would be looking at the HDD Speed including badly fragmented HDD/s or the server running low on Memory both Physical and Virtual.

Just not completely sure where the Macbook comes in though but is it correctly added to whatever it is that the Server supports?
