under warranty and it doesn't sound like you are an authorized Apple Repair Tech I would suggest that you have her take it to an authorized repair shop. You might want to try the onboard utilities such as verifying permissions, etc. since that will sometimes fix that issue or if it is only one or 2 applications that are giving problems you could try removing those and reinstalling them.
