But never let it be said that I am easily put off.

    I reckon...

<cowers in trepidation of impending blows>

... it's a bit like when digital exchanges became commonplace, telephone numbers could be added to by just placing a single digit on the end. Rather than it being a new telephone number (with all the costs involved of setting one up) it was just the old telephone number with an 'extension' added to the end.

In TR's case unless I'm very much mistaken, it's a 'Company within a Company'.

How long do you reckon I'll last until I get blasted this time??

Not really as He is correct or you Robo-Dev have the Dot Com Virus which only adds a extra .com to every Web Address on the TR Site.

But the =.com.com is the way that all TR Pages are displayed and have been ever since I've been a member, as TR is part of the CNET Group I feel it is because they are within an existing company but a separate identity so they get staff like a Unnamed Editor to Front TR on Line. Yes I mean you Sonja Thompson. TR itself is a very small organization that is a part of something much bigger so when CNET had to shed 10% of it's staff recently TR took a slightly bigger % hit than some other sectors of CNET.

    Sad but True.

    I'm Safe.

But I love the way that Staff get roped in from outside this organization to make TR so much better. B-)
