HELP ME PLEASE!! I DROPPED MY LAPTOP NOW IT'S EXTREMELY SLOW!

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! I DROPPED MY LAPTOP WHICH CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT FILES AND NOW IT EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SLOW AND I THINK THE SOUND CARD WAS DAMAGED BECAUSE IT CAN BARELY PLAY SONGS AND VIDEOS AND IT SOUNDS LIKE "ROBOTIC VOICES" IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND. ANY HELP WOULE BE APPRECIATED!!

    Your best course of action is to approach a repair technician for your type of manufacturer.

    It is unlikely that it would be repaired under any warranty that still applies, since the damage was caused by physical trauma.

    You are lucky that the screen survived the fall since it would have been a major contributor to any resultant repair costs.

    I would expect the HDD to have suffered damage so I would suggest that you don't use it at all till you can backup all your DATA. Then after you have a solid working Backup I would take it to a Authorised Repaired for at the very least a Quotation to see what damage has been done.

    Personally I would recommend that the Repairer that you go to does the repair as then you have some comeback if there is something not working correctly after the repair but again you need to listen to what you are told by the repairer and then make a decision from there.
