I expect I'm somewhere in the bottom echelon - and I'm quite happy about that. I've often wondered how, if the people at the top are at work, they find the time to be so active on here. Is that skiving, or are all the rumours about manager workload true?

However, I think I've worked it out. Microsoft progress bars that measure time in Microsoft Minutes (a variable measurement of time, unusual in that it slows right down after 99% of a job is complete) give us the clue. What do people do whilst they're waiting for 3Ghz computers to complete a task an 866Mhz computer could do in a tenth the time? Post on Techrepublic of course.
