How do I print to file without the filename prompt?

GSG
I need to set up a generic text only printer to print to file. I've been able to do that, but it prompts me to enter the share and filename. I need to print to a share with a static filename for all print jobs without user intervention. Where can I set up the path to the share and specify the filename? The results of my google searches have been less than helpful.

The printer and share are on a Windows 2003 server and the files will just be a basic ASCII text file.

Does anyone have any ideas?

you should be able to specify a file name by creating another port

see the forum post here:

you also might have to install the printer locally on the workstations that require it
before you can create the required extra port

when specifying a network path
it might be much easier to map a drive letter to the share
then make sure users have the necessary permissions to write to the network drive
