How do you image a SATA drive that is forced to use IDE emulation?

McGuinty
Pardon the long post, but I want to give as much detail as I can. I am the I.T. support for my company and I also build the universal images for the company.

All has been well until I ran into the Lenovo ThinkCentre A62 (9953) running an AMD BIOS. The unit runs a Seagate 160GB HDD in Native (IDE) mode. When building the driver data base, the HW IDs are not accurate b/c it is running in emulation mode, and it states that the unit is using disk.inf as its default driver. So just for poops and haha's I add this into the DevicePath Reg key on the image build PC (old Dell Optiplex 745), and then sysprep the unit. (Windows XP Pro SP3/sysprep 3)

When I push this back to the A62, the unit goes into the "Boot Failure" boot loop. So here is my question. How do I get the correct mass storage driver for the SATA drive if Native, Legacy, and AHCI all say the unit is an IDE drive using disk.inf as it's MSD?
