How do you revert from Outlook 2007 back to Outlook 2003?

cdraus
After using the trial version of Office 2007 for a while, I have decided
against a permanent upgrade. Now I want to go back to Office 2003. The only
Office program I'm worried about when I do this is Outlook. I know there was
a pst file format change in Outlook 2003 that made it difficult to go back to
an earlier version, but I'm not sure if the file format changed again for
Outlook 2007. What is the recommended procedure for uninstalling OL 2007 and
getting OL 2003 running again?

It should just be a matter of removing the Office 007 and reinstalling the Office 2003 and the reactivating the older product.

When it comes to Outlook you are going to have to Import your E-Mail back into the system so I would backup your current E--Mail now before removing 007 and then when you have 003 installed and working properly open Outlook setup your Mail Service/s and then import your E-Mail back in. It should be easy to do but as I haven't actually placed either Vista or Office 007 into a production environment I'm not sure that it will be as simple as that.

But that is the correct procedure to follow so you can Export your E-Mail out of 007 and then when you have your existing Office Product in place Import your mail back in.

I am also interested in knowing the best way to revert back. I also lost all my Business Contact Manager files when I upgraded. Might those records be gone also? Will I loose or have I already lost the data files in my Outlook? Emails? contacts etc. if I revert back to 2003. I'm willing to learn and work with the new user interface in in 2007 but can't deal with these slower speed issues.
