As it stands the most detailed answer I can give is "write code that talks to the email system and displays the unread mail count". You haven't provided enough detail to answer more thoroughly than that.

    * Are the users already logged in to your site? With their email credentials?
    * What is the email system in use? Do you have API access to it?

They are the main questions. And chances are you can find the answer yourself quite easily using Google if you state them... Eg. "exchange 2010 javascript unread mail count"

yeah... users are already logged in using company's email id.

Okay... well you need to help yourself here. What happened when you typed "exchange 2010 javascript unread mail count" (or whatever your email program is) into Google? Did you not find an answer? Did you find an answer but have a follow-up question on how to make it work? Or did you just not bother typing it in at all, instead expecting someone else to do it for you and post back a link?

For Exchange 2010 the second link provides an answer. Note that it doesn't look like you can use only javascript to get this done.
