how to asess two diff values for a checkbox being 1.checked, 2.unchecked?

    "Yes/No" fields which appear on forms as a checkbox are usually bit fields with values of either 0 or 1. The 0 would be unchecked (false, no, etc) and the 1 would be checked (true, yes, etc). Your query statement syntax would depend on the venue but an example would be: IIf([Table1]![checkbox]=1,"Okey Dokey","Not Okey Dokey")

    In VB it would be

    If checkbox1.checked = True then
    'do the checked thing
    Else
    'do the unchecked thing
    End If
