?How to block p2p traffic with a router Cisco 851?

khrisjian
We need to block p2p traffic (Ares,BearShare,eDonkey, etc) and video streaming (Youtube, etc), to some hosts, Can I spicify this policy for just some users?

I think that is using QoS but I don't have the specific commands.

Pleaste tell me how.
Thank you!

As I know, there is no router can block p2p traffic.
However, cisco 851 does support "Port Mirroring". So you can setup a mirroring port, to mirror internet traffic to an internet filtering product, like "WFilter". With WFilter, you can easily block p2p or IM traffic.

With Cisco security appliances/routers, if your really good at Access Control Lists and have a decent control over the network, you can block almost any malicious traffic. Unlike consumer level routers which allow all outbound originated traffic by default, Cisco's implicit last line of an ACL is to deny traffic. Therefore if the traffic is not specifically allowed. It's denied.
