how to do a reverse tracert?

i just want to find out how to do a reverse traceroute

trying to solve a slow network

    1. Note down your own IP address.
    2. Go to the computer on the other end.
    3. Issue the command TRACERT <i>own IP address</i>

    If yes, well, somehow you need to get hold of the other computer. If you'd be happy to do a trace from about anywhere except your own network, then you might be able to either find some webserver happy to do that, or you could go and buy a kit for mobile internet access and then trace from there...

    Or, either ask your buddy to do a trace (for a beer sometime next year) or some consultant to do it for you against monetary compensation... :)

    how about if we want to do a reverse trace route outside or the other line is no where near the user?

    Seanferd gave one good example of a webserver that will happily do a traceroute to any address you feed it with. (There are many more to found, if you need them, Google can help you)
