how to eliminate virus in my flash drive ( USB).

I have a usb of 1G, and anything i put inside a virus corrupts them.sometimes i cannot even find what i put inside.
pls can you help me on how to remove this virus.

    the drive could simply be going bad.

    you should wipe it out: reformat the flash drive.

    if your PC has a virus, may reinfect it. IF you want to be sure, try reformatting it on someone elses PC.

    Put a couple files on it and see if they show up. Then move it back to your PC. Does your PC see the files? If not then your PC may be wiping them out (infected with virus or bad system software for USB). If this doesn't work the card itself is bad.

    To be sure, if not show up on your PC, take it back to PC you wrote OK to it on. Does it still show up? If so sounds like your card reader is defective, or the driver is bad.

    if the reader isnt bad then scan your system for viruses with several of the many spyware / virus software available for free.

    While a good idea anyway, if youre PC had a virus, likely other files not on the flash drive would be corrupted.

    Take a hammer then smash your stupid USB into millions of peices then go to any store and buy a new one!!!!!!!!!! simple and easy!
