how to enable Duplex Printing default for all network printers?

samazid
I want to make all my network printers to be default duplex enebaled for all the users. Users who are printing more than one page, the second page has to print using duplex. Is there any way to make all the users to print default duplex enabled for them.

Are you using a print server? Does everyone print through it? What printers?

... issue a directive for everyone to change the default preferences for each printer at the local level.

But, without knowing specific details of your "set up", it's impossible to advise you further.

I discovered that HP doesn't officially support printing via a Print Server, that this is a Microsoft implementation. HP recommends printing directly to the printer. Of course the problem with that is if you have a lot of users it's a pain to configure. It may be best to change the duplex option on each printer to be the default setting. In Win XP I believe changes on the print server get pushed down to the client however in Win 7 only newly installed or updated drivers get pushed down and even then the user has to allow this. I'm looking at some other options and if I find anything, I'll post it.
