How to modifying permissions in GPO of Folder in %UserProfile% ?

meninoferns
I have the users folder on the D Drive under D:\users\fernandes\desktop\Adobe.
I need to assign Permissions to all the users on this computer "Adobe" Folder Authenticated user Full control.

I created a GPO and under "Computer Configuration-Policies-Software Settings-Security Settings- File System" and create %UserProfile%\desktop\Adobe and assign permissions but the %Userprofile% redirects to c:\Users not d:\Users

Please advice.

    try setting the envirment variable for %userprofle to% to d:\users vs c:\users
    (at a cmd prompt you can type set userprofile = d:\users or use a registry change etc

    This is what is on my desktop. It is already set to d:\Users.
    %USERPROFILE% always sets to system drive which is C: %SystemDrive%\Users\{username}

    USERNAME=m.fernandes
    USERPROFILE=D:\Users\m.fernandes
    windir=C:\Windows

    Any ideas

    Does anybody have a good vb script for this

    Thanks mark
