This is not something that you can just jump into without any prior website design/coding knowledge. Setting up a fully functional e-commerce site requires many hours of design and implementation time. My best advice to you would be to consult a qualified web design professional, preferably one who specializes in e-commerce/paypal/credit card/inventory integration.

However if you really want to try this on your own, and have some minor coding knowledge, then I would sign up for some web hosting, I personally use hostmonster.com. Use their software installers to get an e-commerce CMS up and running, eg. Cubecart, etc, and play with it untill you are comfortable. Set up a paypal account and link it to your website. Make sure you obtain a security certificate and apply it.

If this stuff seems beyond you, I would stick with my first suggestion.

If you're looking to set up <a href=http://www.businesscreditcardprocessingonline.com/online-card-processing.html>online card processing</a> I would check this resource out. They offer multiple quotes and can help lower the price you pay when dealing with agents negotiating your rates. I've had success with them in the past I hope they can help.
