IP config of second NIC in VPN Server

dholland
I have a simple SOHO network at home using Roadrunner ISP, D-Link DGL-4300 router. Been searching on google for 3 Days for someone to simply tell me how to configure the second nic if placing the 2003 enterprise VPN server behind my firewall.

I have had it working fine with a DHCP address and pointing the VPN traffic to that server but naturally when you connect with VPN it blocks traffic to my FTP and Webserver, also I know I dont want a dynamic IP on that nic. How do I configure the second nic's IP address, subnet, default gateway, first of all... and how do I route the VPN traffic so it doesnt shut down my web and ftp traffic when Im connected to the VPN remotely?

Should the second NIC be configured as the same subnet as my current functioning network or do I need to put it on a different subnet? I am using 129.168.x.x for my network.

Like I was saying I had it working where I could access everything on my network remotely but as soon as I tried to hit my web server it dropped me. Lost the VPN connection.

But If I knew what the proper IP config is for the second NIC I could use packet filtering I think... to allow the FTP and Web traffic.
