Is there a program that will prevent/detect most keyloggers?

dprows
I am looking for a program to prevent and detect keyloggers and screen capture trojans. I have found quite a few online, but I haven't found much that is recent stating which programs are good and which ones aren't. Of course I would like it to be free, but I am willing to pay for a program that would work for this. However, I really don't have a good way to test the program so I really wouldn't know if it was working or not.
Thanks for any information provided.

comes highly recommended and its free.

Also run down the programs and services that are running on your task manager.

    Do a netstat -a
    netstat -r

other types of stuff like that

I would recommend Prevx* 3.0 and PCTools ThreatFire*

I paid for Prevx, and ThreatFire is free; though you can upgrade.

    Hello,

The first way to prevent keyloggers, etc on your computer is simple: Use good security practices on your machine. To do so; you should have a bios password and have the password challenge after the screen saver comes on. The next thing you should do is never download/click on unknown links in email or on websites where things are not clear as far as the URL is concerned. Do not visit porn sites, do not visit warez sites; you get the picture. As said above the Malwarebytes.org is awesome, you can also use SpyBot Search and Destroy and many, many utilities to help on detection. Many anti virus programs help detection. Avira, Avast, AVG, and Microsoft Security Essentials all are free and provide good specs. I also recommend running sysinterals process explorer to get to know all the processes running on your machine. Google is your friend here as well. If there is something you don't understand or can't figure; there are some really good folks here that can help you with what ever your question is. Just remember to give them a thumbs up; most of these folks are professional.
