login to domain

r.a.h
I work in a school environment which has different grade level. I will like to create some type of script that will only allow certain users to logon to a particular PC. I have AD on a Windows 2003 server. I am new to this because the SA quit. Is there a script that I can edit to serve my needs. I do not know how to creat one.
Thanks

    Instead of a script, Group Policy is what you want to research and learn.

    I'll give you a high-level view of what you'll do to accomplish your goal.

    1. Create an OU for the PC or PC's that you'll want to apply this criteria;
    2. Create a security group to which you can add all users that you want to be able to log onto this PC or PC's;
    3. Create a Group Policy object and link it to the OU from step 1, adding the group from step 2 above to the Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Local Policies / User Rights Assignment / Log on Locally policy, and remove users and/or domain users from the same policy.
