map drive for domain users

abo_shreek11
Hi
I went through the steps of mapping a drive for shared folder on domain users computers.I did exactly the instructions in the following site:
http://homepages.ius.edu/jholly/a247/labs/LogonScript.htm

I logout and login with different accounts on different computers on the network and i still can't see the mapped drive in MyComputer. I wrote the logon script on all the Group Policy Objects since i suspect the GPO precedence the source of the problem but with no luck. Would you suggest something?

From a cmd prompt on the client machine, type your "Net Use" command. Does it work? Everything counts, every space, every comma, everything. Once you get the command to work then you can copy it to your script.

The procedure doesn't mention it, but you might try starting the bat file with

    net use * /delete

then continue with the drive mappings

Of course, if the script is running from a network drive, you'll wipe yourself out.
