+ 0 Votes What exactly are you talking about? dawgit 6 years ago IPv6 is a protocal. Just like IPv4 (sort of) It, it's self is not not portable, or mobile. Are you talking about "Roaming IP Addresses"? (or maybe Portable IP addresses, which, as far as I know, haven't been implemented yet.) And how do you mean "Secure"? It get tricky in the sticky details, when you through out techie terms like that. We need much more detail. But, I doubt any-one here is going to do your homework for you. -d + 0 Votes securing the mobile node as it moves networks dbains_2000 6 years ago i am researching and yes i want to do my own work but with some help from techies other than lecturers. yea, so im researching into, the current progress in making it possible for mobile nodes to roam the world seamlessly connected with integrity etc, so basically ensuring security of the data to & from the node. this is a fairly new subject and i know theres little that is certain & it has not been implemented but it will be. so like im looking into IPSec, Route Optimization & its security limitations, return routeability, binding updates& again its seuciryt limitations, and the motivation behind HMIPv6 focusing on security.so was just looking for any advice into what else i should research. any useful sources of research, and technical information from readers. things like that!
