my user account automatically logs off

can anyone help me.... when i press the user account in the welcome screen at first it says that its connecting and then suddenly it automatically logs out.. I dont know why.. i reboot my pc but then the same problem occur.. I cannot access my pc.. Even when i am in safe mode the same poblem still occur. What should i do>? Can any one pls help// I'm using windows xp media center,,,,

    Have you tried logging in with the administrator account in Safe mode? if it works create another account and see if it works, if not you will have to to a repair install.

    the one im accessing is the administrator account. But still in safe mode, the same problem occurs... i still cannot enter the domain... is command prompt possible to fix this problem??

    It very well could be a Screen Saver issue. If you noticed that it started occurring after you made changes to your screen saver. Sometimes we may accidentally changed the Screen saver wait time to 1 minute or something. If this is the problem, do the following:
    1. Open Control panel and click 'Display' icon
    2. Click the 'Screen Saver' tab and uncheck the 'On resume, display Welcome screen'. This automatically logs the user off when the screen saver comes up. You also can extend the 'Wait' time to a more reasonable amount of time.
