NAT emails to my Exchange Server using NETGEAR DG834

m.satiar
Hi all,

I am trying to NAT my emails through to my exchange 2003 server.

I am using dyndns as I only have a dynamic IP Address.

My Exchange Server has a 192.168.1.* static IP address and my dyndns for example would be emailserver.dyndns.org

Using the NETGEAR DG834, how would I route my emails to the exchange box?

(MX10 is pointing at my dyndns address)

Any help woud be greatfully recieved,

M

Is that using DynDNS in the router rarely works in the long run which is unfortunate.

I've had better experience using the DynDNS client installed on the Exchange server.

Other than that, just make sure you open the apporpiate ports...port 25 for SMTP, port 443 for SSL if you want to use OWA, port 53 for DNS, etc.
