If DHCP is set in the router it will automatically assign an IP address to the printer. + 0 Votes HP network printing problem bla 6 years ago My HP network printing problem has been solved. A friend of mine with knowledge of network located the problem to be the Dlink DIR-655 broadcast funktion. With the broadcast switched of I was able to ping the printer again and the printer could be used as a network printer again. But thanks for the reply.
