OH Smeg

HP lists 2 different Video Drivers for this System so it should be one or the other that you require.

Look here for the Drivers available for XP and this System from HP

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=462093

You need one of these 2 Drivers but which one I do not know

Spring 2005 Original Display/Monitor Driver Collection

or

Spring 2005 Original Graphics Driver Collection

AS the actual drivers do not have much information you may be required to install the Second one first and then install the First one listed here to Update the Second.

But have you actually checked in the Display proprieties of XP to see what the Video Settings actually are? Right Click anywhere unused on the Desktop and in the Drop Down Menu left Click on Proprieties and then when the next Window opens select the Settings Tab and look at the Screen Resolution and Color Settings. If one or both of these are below the required Display Settings for whatever it is you are using to display Movies with.
