Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 and Samsung LCD screen don't seem to like eachother.

Hello guys. I've been up today till now (2:30) am. Normally i would've gone to sleep but i'm having an issue that is driving me crazy. I bought a 22'' LCD screen couple weeks ago. When i installed everything i wasn't really happy cause of the tekst sharpness and the colours. My Borhter who's an IT professional fixed everything for me using the NVIDIA control panel. Now earlier today my screen went black. I reconeected the HDMI cable (that was the prob) and when the screen went on again i saw the colours/sharpness were awfull again. I can't seem to fix it with the NVIDIA control panel. Tried everything and it just won't work. I can't reach my brother as he's in L.A for the next 3 weeks. Hope you guys can help me. I can give you all the info you want .

Thnx in advance :))

In Windows it should be set to the highest that the system supports not 8 Bit Color or something like that.

... you mentioned that you had to reconnect the HDMI cable in order to get the display back. Check to make sure the cable is securely connected on the PC and the display.

I would power down the monitor and computer, remove the HDMI cable, inspect the pins to ensure they're not bent, then reconnect the cable making sure there's no sharp bends in it. Then power up the monitor then your computer and see if that helps.

If the colors are still bad, try (carefully) wiggling the cable and connector to see if that has an effect. If it does then you might have a bad cable or a bad connector port (either on the video card or the monitor).
