ok, can someone please help my husband?

PurpleSkys Moderator
Alright, so Darryl's work gave him a nice new "crackberry", it's nice, I wouldn't mind having one myself some day....but anyway, to his dilema. Could someone who has TR on theirs please give him a hand on how to connect to his account? Any assistance would be hugely appreciated :)

    So......

I can't get to my TR account on my BB...I keep landing on the "mobile" page....I want "MY" page....

What am I doing wrong? It's gotta be a stupid thing!!

if you go to techrepublic.com you get the mobile page, what you have to do is go to a link inside forums, which is where you want to go I guess. From there click my workspace and it will ask you to logon, logon and then you are in.

I am using a Blackberry Tour and it is so very slow but in the time I took to post this it is finally there. LOL

And back in again, guess a bookmark to forums is needed, but even still I do not think the Berry is up to it, a Droid or iphone would fill the bill much better.

Yeah, it's very quick on the BB....I set the WiFi up on our wirelees router & made it a member of our Windows 7 homegroup....it's a nice router...very fast....same as I'm using with the laptop right now.

I had to go to the "forums" page on this computer....then type the link into the BB....everything was great from there...thanks!! :)

Consorted with and grew fond of a guy next door to me who owned a sign-painting business; who came from where you are.

He was responsible for all the signage I display to this day in my business. He was the one, also and for example, who drilled me on how to write a, "W". To this day, when I write a "W", I make sure the middle peak height equals those to either side of it.

He taught me much more than that. But, above all, I remember the "W".

I'd be able to throw the phone a lot further than a laptop

I'm not very accustomed to all the little texting slang as I very seldom text. I think most emails & other typing on the Blackberry will be kept to a minimun.

But to think that I was sitting there typing on a little gadget in the palm of my hand, not attached to any wires, and you were on the opposite coast of North America & were reading it, possibly on your own little gadget in your hand....well...40 years ago I would have laughed and suggested that maybe someone was watching too much science fiction.
