That depends on whether we think of the "name" of a number as a productive or not. If it's calcified then it can be expanded beyond "four tens and two" into meaning "four of the first order and two of the null order" of any number system in which such makes sense (i.e. more than quaternary).
Base ten, as it was written "forty-two". AFAIK, there are no names for numbers outside the base ten system.
