From the link I put in my reply: "Backblaze does not want to waste your bandwidth or Backblaze datacenter disk space. Thus, we do not backup your operating system, application files, or temporary internet files that are transient and would not be useful in the future." Yes, it does need to be downloaded, but unless you don't have an internet connection (which seems unlikely) that wouldn't normally be a problem. From what I can see SugarSync and OpenDrive <i>do</i> require you to download software to use their services. Were you not aware of that? You seem to have some requirement that you have not mentioned. The services you mentioned are not strictly backup services. What are you trying to accomplish, exactly?
