Oracle Forms 10g Printing

MsIT
I'm trying to print from a web site thats running Oracle Application Server 10g using Oracle Forms. When I print the page, it only prints whats displayed on the screen and not all the pages of the document.

I am not familiar with Oracle and the DBA does know how to solve this problem either.

Can anyone help me with this.

Thanks in advance!

the only way, that i know, is ti use oracle reports. In the oracle reports yo need to display all the information that you need, then make a button that calls a reports from your forms.

    I hope this help you.

I was told we would have to purchase the reports software and rewrite everything - no go. I appreciate your help.

    Hi,

One thing I used to do was create a link on a report that sent the output directly to the printer in PDF format.

    This printed the whole report.

You will need to have the printers installed on the Application Server with the appropriate drivers and the name of the printer is the desitination in the keymap file (Its been awhile since I've done this)

Descriptions on how to do this are on Metalink.

If you are running App Server on Windows, you should easily be able to get printer drivers.

Linux/Unix may be abit more difficult.

    Regards
