OWA Question

cnstetson
I am currently setting up OWA. On the internal network I am able to reach owa & login successfully. Outside the network on the web when I try to access it I get a error 403 IP denied. I have a Linksys 54WRTG the new version 8. I have forwarded the port 80 to the IP of the mailserver. is their something I am missing.

    IIS

Sounds like the IIS component is configured to only allow internal IP's.

Open up IIS, expand the local computer / Websites / Default Website. Your choice, either on the Default website properties, or on the Exchange AND Public properties, go to Directory Security / IP address and domain name restrictions EDIT... and modify accordingly to allow access by public IP's.
