password problem

hi tech members,
please i need you help. i have a laptop (fujitsu siemens) which has password both for logon and cmos setup, my client have not used this laptop for long time and now has forgoten the password. i tried to clear it by removing cmos battery but didnt help still askin for password. please help?

    Questions like this are not answered as anyone can read the answer particularly in this section which is always available to anyone who cares to look.

    As for as the Log On Password is concerned Wipe the HDD and Reload the System.

    As for the Power On Password ring Fujitsu for a workaround or take it to an Authorised Repairer.

    I had the same thing happen with a "crap-Pad" by IBM, unfortunately it was the CEO's laptop. Even IBM couldnt help me get into the BIOS or the HD (which he had also put a pw on). Had to buy new MB & HD. I hope that Fujitsu has seen those issues and made a backdoor.

    There are far too many stollen computers in the world today. Building back doors just makes it easier for the theifs to break in. Passwords are set for a reason. Either you remember your password, or you buy new guts for the computer. That's the price you pay for not taking passwords seriously and REMEMBERING THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    but I forgot my logon to photobucket (I have it at work). Funny thing, I keep forgetting (at work) to grab the pic and upload it.
