hi there i'm a newbie of this forum, could anyone please help me out about my problem on my pc.When i turned on my PC and use it, it happens that it turns into standy mode without putting on standby.so what i did is to pressing any key in able to get back to normal. i already reformat my pc cause i though there was a problem on the system. but it goes to that problem again.. i guest there's no problem with the system nor hardware cause i already check them and its functioning normally.. how do i fix this problem? My pc specs is NFGI6 am2.. isn't it on the bios was the problem? how do i fithis? tnx

    That of course is providing that you are using some form of Windows as an Operating System.

    If you are using something else post back and someone will be able to direct you to the solution.

    But if you are using Windows this is set by Default to save the Monitor and HDD's.

    Power Settings on Windows 7 is accessed from the Control Panel. Click on the "Start" button, then click on Control Panel. You will see the "Power Options". Click on it. You will see some options on the left. You can create a "custom power plan". If you make a mistake or want to select different time frames, you can "change the plan". I set the time frame for "hibernate" to a large value, e.g., 3000 minutes is 50 hours before it goes into hibernate - I log off before 50 hours - so it never hibernates.
