You've obviously told it to print two sided and your printer doesn't do double sided documents automatically or is set to do it manually. When you put the paper back in to print the second side, you've placed it incorrectly.

The principle being that for a single sheet newsletter imposed 2-up on the sheet. Once all the sheets have been printed, you turn the pile over in a forwards direction, then print them all again thus printing both sides of each sheet. Each sheet then has 2 completed newsletters, each in True Register to their own 'edge' of the sheet, for exact trimming purposes against a straight edge.

You must have stipulated a newsletter of A5 size - the computer is only trying to help you by imposing the pages in this way for an A4 sheet.

This way each newsletter has it's own Header, thus it's own Left&Right margins.

If you want to have both pages upright when you view a single side of the sheet, you can make it that way BUT you will NOT guarantee the true register of the fronts and the backs when the sheets are printed and split into singles. :)

*Having reread your post, you've probably just put the paper in the wrong way for the second pass.
