PROBLEM OPENING HARD DISK

In My computer, when I double click on hard disk, it does not open and instead I get a message

C:\recycled\boot.com is not a valid Win 32 application

on double clicking the hard disk if I choose exlore the hard disk opens

Please help me resolve this problem

    Turn off System Restore.

    Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
    <br>

    <br><br>

    * Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.<br>
    * At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.<br>
    * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.<br>
    * Once the program has loaded, select Perform Quick Scan, then click Scan.<br>
    * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.<br>
    * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.<br>

    Run it through again and see if it finds anything else. You may have to do this until it stops finding things.
    Just to be on the safe side when you finish do an online scan with Bitdefender.

    Remember to turn on System Restore when you have finished cleaning.

    Update your Antivirus software.

    Download HijackThis and run it and then go to the site below to analyze it to find out the name of the infection by posting it or post the log file here.

    Hijack This opens you a possibility to find and fix nasty entries on your computer easier. Therefore it will scan special parts in the registry and on your harddisk and compare them with the default settings. If there is some abnormality detected on your computer HijackThis will save them into a logfile. In order to find out what entries are nasty and what are installed by the user, you need some background information.

    A logfile is not so easy to analyze. Even for an advanced computer user.
