Remotely Setting DNS address on client machine

Hello,

Any body know how to set DNS address remotely using command prompt. The scenario is like this
i have a windows 2000 server with some 30 windows xp clients i want to set dns on this 30 computer remotely. Please help

    These settings are stored in the registry under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters\DHCPNameServer.

    Any tool or script to remotely modify the registry should work.

    For do seem to remember that the DNS settings are read from ControlSet001 instead of from CurrentControlSet, so you might want to test first.

    If you change the parameter in CurrentControlSet, it will auto-update ControlSet001, so you had it right with the first path.
