After posting this i did manage to download the files thats on the intel site from a dell support site, plus f6lpy but wasnt sure if they were right. Not tried yet but confident got the right s/w now, it looks simple enough! Just out of interest im curious to know why this is necessary on some machines & not others, wondered if it had something do with the cmos. + 0 Votes For the curious seanferd 5 years ago depends on whether your OS has the particular drivers shipped with it, or if the hardware uses available generic drivers.
