Sharing parts of Spreadsheet data

Athar88
Is there a way in which I can share only part of my spreadsheet data to my team members?
For example If I have to share 10% of particular spreadsheet data to a team in UK, 20% to a team in US and rest 70% to other team in Asia ? Without creating separate sheets or copying and pasting method..

it depends on how the intricated the spreadsheet is:

one of the simpliest methods is to use the filter capability in excel.

first you will need add a column to use in indexing. the column will contain the initials of the country and each row will essentially be marked with country it pertains to.

next apply the filtering feature via the menu bar.

then select the country from that column, and then only those rows will be listed on the sheet while the rest will be hidden - that is until you remove the filter criterion.

next print the revised spreadsheet as a pdf and email away.

Thanks. But this will again increase redundancy, is there any simpler tool which allows me just sharing some parts of the spreadsheet ??? without creating column and indexing?? or that's the only method??

spreadsheet(s)? I know you said you don't want to add spreadsheets or copy and paste but if you start a new worksheet and link the data you want them to have to that new worksheet it would pretty much populate itself and then you could just send them that sheet.

Well, It would be very easy if I can just directly use my spreadsheet data n send parts to my team members as they are all in different location. And my data is transient so basically sharing of spreadsheets with transient data would be the concern..
